A new website for charity working to end sexual violence and abuse

Alongside Hactar, we worked collaboratively with the passionate and dedicated Rape Crisis England & Wales team on their new website, and subsequently their brand.

They are a charity working to end sexual violence and abuse, and the membership organisation for Rape Crisis Centres who deliver specialist services to those affected by sexual violence. Their website is key to delivering their services to help women affected by sexual violence.

They needed a site that could educate people on what sexual violence is, reassure women they could ask for help no matter when the assault took place and empowered women to speak up. It needed to provide clear information and support for those affected, for their families and friends and for professionals, as well as a clear fundraising journey.

We refreshed the brand, building on their two suffragette inspired colours of purple and green. We went with an illustration direction as photography is difficult to source for such an emotive issue. We landed with a fine balance of empowerment and gentle help for those who might feel scared or vulnerable.

Thank you to the incredible teams at Rape Crisis and Hactar.

Fran is empathetic, talented and a pleasure to work with. She worked closely and collaboratively with us to create a beautiful visual brand and website design that was really suitable for our specific cause and audience. This was huge improvement from what we had before and has had a big impact on our work.
